Lazy Dog Loungers Weight Guidelines

Small Raft- Up to 25 lbs

Large Raft- Up to 110 lbs

What are the Lazy Dog Loungers made of?
The fabric is a durable 600D Nylon backed polyester that is both sun and mildew resistent.  It is extremely durable and difficult to tear.  The foam is made from Ethofoam HRC (High Recycled Content 65% or greater).

Is the Lazy Dog Lounger filled with air?
No, Lazy Dog Loungers use foam inserts. Therefore, your pet cannot pop the float like others on the market.

Can my dog easily get on and off the Lazy Dog Lounger?
If you have an active dog, he will most likely be able to get on and off easily.  Like learning to ride in a car and feel confident and secure, it will take a few tries for your dog to get comfortable and acclimated.  If you have a less active dog, he may need a little assistance getting on.

Will the Lazy Dog Lounger sink?
No, the internal foam keeps the float above the water. However, our floats are intentionally designed to be semi-submersible to allow water to flow and keep your pet cool in the heat.  As your dog moves around and finds its own comfort level, the float will ultimately create a pool in which they can rest. If they are sitting vs. laying -- the weight distribution will affect how much and where the water pools.  If you have a lightweight dog they may not submerse much at all.

How long will it take for my dog to get comfortable on the Lazy Dog Lounger?
Since this will be a new experience for them, let them get comfortable at their own pace. Do not expect that the first time will be perfect. It may take a few tries for your dog to find his balance and get comfortable.

Will the Lazy Dog Lounger fade?
Yes, over time, the sun and chlorine in pools will cause the colors to fade. With the proper care and storage, your float should last for many years.

What size Lazy Dog Lounger does my dog need?
The weight of your dog is very important in determining what size Lazy Dog Lounger to purchase.

Does my dog have to wear a life vest?
Yes, for the safety and care of your pet, we recommend your dog always wears a life vest in the water.

Is the lazy Dog Lounger a life-saving product?
No, it is float designed for dogs to enjoy while their families are present.

Is the Lazy Dog Lounger patented?
Yes, it is a patented product and like no other on the market.  Our floats do not need air and therefore will not deflate or pop.

Where are Lazy Dog Loungers made?
Our innovative dog floats are proudly made in the USA (Cornelia, Georgia).

How should I clean my Lazy Dog Lounger?
Wash gently with mild soap and water if your lounger gets dirty.   You may also remove all foam components and machine wash on gentle cycle then hang dry.

How should I store my Lazy Dog Lounger?
When not in use, we recommend rinsing your float and storing it out of the sunlight and weather elements to ensure its longest lasting performance and appearance.
